Anderson Design GroupTrue South Puzzle Company's first series features the work of the Anderson Design Group—a full-service design firm specializing in hand-rendered design and illustration. A few years ago, they began creating poster art to showcase their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee—all rendered in a classic time-honored style of the golden age of poster art. The Spirit of Nashville Collection, as it became known, was a smashing success, and this award-winning series of classic poster art has won international acclaim. Fueled by the popularity of the Music City designs, they have gone on to create several new lines of prints that celebrate other American cities national parks, coastal living, vintage advertising themes, and international travel destinations. Each of the hand-illustrated designs is created and printed with pride in Nashville. |

Evie CoatesEvie Coates is a Nashville native who is in her 18th year of teaching art at The Ensworth School. While there’s no other place she’d rather call home, Evie has always been inspired by travel, her best companions being the kind with pages. When one sees her sketchbooks full of map-drawing, quick renderings, and taped-in ephemera, it’s like the streets of Paris, the wooded paths of northern California, or the sandy beaches of the Florida Gulf open up right before you. Evie’s lettering, pencil drawings, and watercolors hang on walls throughout her hometown and beyond. Oh, and that feline friend, that’s Sylvie, Evie’s studio mate and faithful muse. Sylvie prides herself on stepping delicately around bottles of ink and trays of paint, but she also loves to take little sips from Evie's watercolor cup.
